At the African Youth Championships in Rabat, Morocco, Egypts Omar Assar and Dina Meshref won two more gold medals each.
The almost 18-year-old Assar and the 15-year-old Meshref won together the Mixed Doubles competition against Nigerias Quadri Aruna and Janet Effiom.
In the Mens Doubles, Assar won gold with Mohamed El-Beiali while Meshref prevailed with Sara El-Sokary in a close final against Olfa Guenni and Safa Saidani of Tunisia.
Egypt Leads the Medals Table
Thanks to Omar Assar and Dina Meshref, Egypt has won all five gold medals so far in the Moroccan capital. Tunisia has taken over the second place from Nigeria thanks to two silver medals in the Doubles competitions.
At the last day of competition, the Singles events main draws start with the round of 16. When it comes to the finals, it is very probable that the Egyptian youth will have a say in the matter too.
