Happy Holidays from JOOLA!

Team JOOLA would like to wish everyone a very happy holiday season!  Weve been keeping busy this year and wed like to thank all of our supporters and followers for making 2010 our most successful year yet!

Heres a quick recap of the last few months:

Over Thanksgiving weekend, JOOLA sponsored the 13th annual North American Teams Championships at the Baltimore Convention Center, located just outside the nations capital, in Maryland.  JOOLA provided 145 brand new 3000-SC tables (just delivered from Germany!) for the competition.  With 212 teams totaling nearly 1,000 participants, the event secured its position as the largest table tennis tournament in the world again!  Teams from Canada, China, Korea, and Mexico all made their way to the event.  Canada and Korea battled it out in the finals, but in the end, it was Korea who won the championship.

Next up, Team JOOLA headed to New York City in early December for the 2010 Topspin event.  Topspin is an annual ping pong tournament and party hosted by leaders in the sports and entertainment industries to benefit various charities focused on youth education.  This year, NATT and JOOLA were honored to team up with partners including Motorola Foundation, Delta, Coca-Cola, Yahoo! Sports, Lexus, American Express, NBA Cares, NHL, Coors Light, and Bacardi, etc. to raise money for A Better Chance, Liberty Leads, and Pencils of Promise.  The event was a huge success, raising about a quarter of a million dollars in one night!

Not even a week later, we were at the 2010 US Nationals in Las Vegas.  Around 750 players showed up to compete in the event, but the biggest surprises came at the end of the tournament with major upsets in both the Men and Womens singles events.  Team JOOLA players certainly left an impression at the event, especially Peter Li (age 17) and Lily Zhang (age 13), who both made it to the Men and Womens finals!

We didnt miss a beat coming back from the Nationals, as the holidays were just around the corner!  We hope 2010 was great year for you and are excited to see what 2011 has in store for us!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
