DUNELLEN, NJ – Lily Yip Table Tennis Center (LYTTC) has recently joined the long line of clubs that have signed agreements for JOOLA to become their official equipment sponsor. Established in 2012, the LYTTC has grown to be an esteemed and prominent table tennis facility in the United States, now with over 200 members.
LYTTC is owned and operated by Lily Yip, a 2x U.S. Olympian, former U.S. Women’s National Team member, and multiple-time USATT National Coach of the Year. She is accompanied by her daughter Judy Hugh, also a former multiple-time U.S. National team member, and son-in-law, Cory Eider, who was the 2013 U.S. National Championships Men’s Singles Finalist. Together, this power family has worked tirelessly to promote table tennis in the U.S. by hosting seasonal and holiday training camps, group lessons and classes, private coaching lessons, after school programs, organizing leagues, and running USATT sanctioned tournaments at their club.
“We’re very excited to be joining JOOLA,” said Hugh. “They are a company that is always working to improve their products and designs, and adapts to the changes of the sport and market. I also like that they have a strong social media presence, staying relevant with the trends, and I hope that LYTTC can follow JOOLA in the same path.”
Following the sponsorship, LYTTC will exclusively use and carry JOOLA equipment, including JOOLA 3000SC competition tables, barries, and balls, as well as carry JOOLA products in their on-site Pro Shop. Furthermore, LYTTC has produced several elite USA National Team Members, including Amy Wang and Sharon, Adar, and Gal Alguetti, whom are all already sponsored by JOOLA. From humble beginnings, they have all gone on to win numerous U.S. National Championship Titles and Wang even recently represented the United States at the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina. LYTTC continues to be committed to fostering young talent, with a prestigious junior program that currently comprises of around 30 dedicated members.
LYTTC is located in the heart of Dunellen, New Jersey, directly across from the Dunellen Train Station and Municipal Building. Open 7 days a week, the club has five full-time dedicated coaches, but often hosts high-level visiting coaches as well. The 15,000 square ft. full-time dedicated state-of-the-art facility boasts two floors with 24 tables and has been recognized as both an ITTF Hotspot and a USA Table Tennis Center of Excellence.
