ABOUT SHARON
Sharon Alguetti grew up in a table tennis family in New Jersey and picked up the sport at the age of 8. Sharon can often be found training with and competing against his 2 brothers. He described the shared family experience as “Good and weird at the same time,” adding that, “We help each other and push each other’s limits, but competing against one another is not always the most fun. We know each other’s games perfectly, so results depend on the day.”
His favorite table tennis memory is beating Team China in the finals 3:2 to win the 2018 ITTF Canada Junior Teams Open with his twin brother Gal.
