The Moyer Foundation, founded by MLB World Series-winning All-Star pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen, will be hosting a celebrity ping pong tournament this Saturday in Philadelphia. JOOLA is proud to be an equipment sponsor for such a great cause. Also, our friends at Trolley Car Table Tennis Club will be helping out. Proceeds from the event will help children in distress – including The Moyer Foundation’s Camp Erin and Camp Mariposa programs.
The tournament will be held at XFINITY Live! with local food and beverages and an amazing silent auction with exclusive sports, travel and leisure items you won’t want to miss.
Some of the local celebrities that you’ll get to see compete are:
• Philadelphia Union’s Brian Caroll, Gabe Farfan, Chase Harrison, Amobi Okugo, Chandler Hoffman, and Chris Konopka
• 97.5 The Fanatic’s Mike Missanelli
• NBC 10’s John Clark
• University of Pennsylvania Coach, Jerome Allen
• Former Governor Edward Rendell (PA)
• St. Joe’s Coach, Phil Martelli
• Governor Jack Markell (DE) and others
You’ll also see appearances from the Phillie Phanatic and St. Joe’s Hawk!
