Starting on the 1st of this year, an exciting new relationship began between JOOLA and Achanta Sharath Kamal. Kamal, a Federal League Player for Bremen, signed a long term contract to exclusively use JOOLA equipment and share his knowledge and experience to improve and expand the brand. “Since JOOLA has equipped the Indian National Team I have been in close contact with JOOLA and its staff. I am very happy, that now I have an equipment contract with JOOLA and I can rely on the top material of the traditional manufacturer”, Kamal said in a statement while playing at the recent Hungarian Open in Budapest.
Kamal has been a well-known sports star in India since he won the Singles event during the Commonwealth Games in 2006. His other major accomplishments include: winning the U.S. Open Championship in 2010; being the first Indian to win the Pyongyang Invitational Tournament in 2007; and being the first Indian to win a singles title on the ITTF Pro Tour.
We are pleased to welcome Kamal to Team JOOLA and as Director Andreas Hain said “JOOLA is very glad to win over another international top star and we are sure that the cooperation with Achanta will be rewarding for everyone.”
