Life Before Pickleball

  • I was an avid tennis player and also played baseball, basketball and table tennis.

How did you find pickleball?

There was an invitation in the newspaper to try out the sport at Club Pickleball Saint-Laurent. Jean-Claude Lavoie and Francoise Abel made me fall in love with it. I continued playing tennis until 2019 when I decided to focus more on pickleball. 

Any activities outside of Competition?

  • Lead a pickleball workshop in prison
  • Ambassador for a fundraiser that raised $45,000 for a hospital
  • Introduced pickleball to high school students and planning on organizing more. 
  • Started a junior pickleball league at my club.
